HomeFreight Forwarder in Pakistan
Nationwide Freight Forwarding

A freight forwarder in Pakistan that handles the whole job.

Fjord’s Bay is a PIFFA-certified freight forwarding company operating from Karachi, Pakistan’s principal trade gateway, since 2003. Sea freight, air freight, customs clearance and owned-fleet haulage — handled in-house, under one accountable company, for exporters and importers across Pakistan.

What We Do

A full-service freight forwarding company in Pakistan

Most of Pakistan’s seaborne trade leaves and arrives through Karachi. We sit at that gateway and handle every step of it — so you deal with one company rather than a forwarder, a clearing agent and a transporter who all blame each other.

Sea freight from Pakistan

FCL and LCL ocean freight out of Karachi Port and Port Qasim. Carrier booking, Bill of Lading, and container shipping to any global destination — the backbone of cargo shipping from Pakistan.

Air freight from Pakistan

Air cargo through Jinnah International Airport for urgent and high-value consignments — airline booking, AWB and airport handling.

Customs clearance

Licensed customs agent under Pakistan Customs Rule 355. Import and export Goods Declarations filed on WeBOC and PSW, with HS classification and duty guidance.

Container haulage

Our own fleet, not a broker’s. Port-to-factory and factory-to-port container moves timed to your vessel cut-off.

Warehousing & distribution

Short and long-term storage in Karachi, export consolidation and import de-consolidation between factory, port and buyer.

Export & import logistics

End-to-end export logistics including EFS shipments, and full import handling from arrival to door delivery.

Why Fjord’s Bay

What makes an international freight forwarder in Pakistan worth using

There are hundreds of freight forwarding companies in Pakistan. These are the things that actually change how your shipment goes.

Properly licensed

PIFFA member and a customs agent licensed under Rule 355 of the Customs Rules 2001. Ask any forwarder for both — many hold neither and sub-contract your clearance to someone you never meet.

Active since 2003

Two decades at Karachi’s ports through every system change, from manual filing to WeBOC to PSW. That history is why difficult consignments still clear.

Owned fleet, not brokered

When haulage is sub-contracted, nobody controls the truck. We own ours, so a cut-off we commit to is a cut-off we can actually meet.

Clearance in-house

Freight and customs sit in the same office. Documentation errors get caught before a GD is filed, not after your container is held for examination.

One accountable party

Booking, clearance, haulage and delivery under a single company. One invoice, one point of contact, no gaps for a shipment to fall into.

Worldwide reach

We forward to North America, the UK, Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and Africa — and act as the Pakistan agent for overseas forwarders nominating into Karachi.

Gateways

Where freight actually moves through Pakistan

Pakistan’s international cargo concentrates in Karachi. Understanding which terminal handles your cargo matters more than most exporters realise — it determines free-time, haulage distance and examination process.

Karachi Port (KPT)

The country’s oldest and busiest port, with the KICT and SAPT container terminals. SAPT takes the largest vessels calling Pakistan.

Port Qasim

Pakistan’s second major seaport, with QICT and PICT handling containers alongside bulk and liquid cargo terminals.

Jinnah International Airport

Karachi’s air cargo gateway for time-critical exports and imports, including perishable and high-value consignments.

How It Works

How we handle a shipment, start to finish

1 · Rate & booking

Send commodity, weight, volume, Incoterm and destination. We quote the route and book space with the carrier once you confirm.

2 · Collection & stuffing

Our fleet positions the empty container at your factory, or collects loose cargo for consolidation at our Karachi warehouse.

3 · Customs clearance

We file the Goods Declaration on WeBOC or PSW, handle examination and assessment, and resolve any query before it costs you free-time.

4 · Port & loading

Gate-in ahead of cut-off, terminal supervision, and Bill of Lading or Air Waybill issued once loaded.

5 · In transit

Vessel and milestone updates pushed to you and your overseas agent automatically, rather than on request.

6 · Destination

Documents released to your buyer or agent. For imports, we clear and deliver to your door in Karachi.

Sectors

Industries we move cargo for

Pakistan’s export base has particular documentation and handling demands. We work regularly across the country’s main trade sectors.

Textiles & garments

Pakistan’s largest export category — high-volume FCL programmes with tight buyer deadlines.

Rice & agriculture

Seasonal bulk and containerised movements with certification and fumigation requirements.

Surgical & sports goods

Sialkot-origin cargo consolidated and exported through Karachi, often air freight for urgent orders.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How do I choose the best freight forwarder in Pakistan?
There is no single best freight forwarder in Pakistan for every shipment — the right one depends on your cargo, your ports and your deadlines. Judge on four things you can actually verify: PIFFA membership, a customs agent licence under Rule 355, whether haulage is owned or brokered, and whether customs clearance is done in-house or sub-contracted. A forwarder who scores on all four controls your shipment end to end; one who does not is passing part of it to a company you have no contract with.
Is Fjord's Bay a freight forwarder for all of Pakistan or only Karachi?
We are based in Karachi and operate at Karachi Port and Port Qasim, which is where the large majority of Pakistan's international sea and air cargo moves through. We regularly handle shipments for exporters and importers located anywhere in Pakistan — the cargo is collected, consolidated or cleared through Karachi.
What makes a good freight forwarding company in Pakistan?
Three things you can verify before you commit: that they are a PIFFA member, that they hold a customs agent licence under Rule 355 of the Customs Rules 2001, and that they control their own haulage rather than brokering it. A forwarder missing any of the three is sub-contracting part of your shipment to a party you have no relationship with.
Do you handle both exports from and imports into Pakistan?
Yes. We handle export logistics end to end including Export Facilitation Scheme (EFS) shipments, and full import logistics — Goods Declaration filing, duty and HS guidance, examination, and door delivery.
Which shipping and freight services do you provide?
Sea freight (FCL and LCL), air freight, import and export customs clearance on WeBOC and PSW, container haulage on our own fleet, and warehousing and distribution in Karachi.
Can an overseas freight forwarder nominate you as their Pakistan agent?
Yes. Overseas forwarders and NVOCCs regularly nominate us as their Pakistan handling agent for customs clearance, haulage, port supervision and local invoicing.
How do I get a freight quote from Pakistan?
Send the commodity, weight, volume or container type, Incoterm and destination through our quote form or WhatsApp. We come back with a route and a rate rather than a placeholder number.
