Karachi Logistics

A logistics company in Karachi that owns every link.

Fjord’s Bay has run freight, customs and transport out of Karachi since 2003. Sea and air freight forwarding, licensed customs clearance, our own container haulage fleet and warehousing — one company, one invoice, one team accountable from your factory gate to the vessel and back.

Services

Complete logistics services in Karachi

Most logistics companies in Karachi resell at least one leg of the job. We run all four in-house, which is why a delay in one never becomes a surprise in another.

Container transportation & trucking

We are our own trucking company in Karachi, not a broker — owned-fleet container haulage and local haulage across the city — port to factory, factory to port, and inter-terminal moves at KICT, SAPT, QICT and PICT.

Customs clearance

Licensed customs agent under Rule 355. Import and export Goods Declarations on WeBOC and PSW, HS classification, examination and assessment.

Sea freight forwarding

FCL and LCL ocean freight out of Karachi Port and Port Qasim, with carrier booking and Bill of Lading handling.

Air freight

Air cargo through Jinnah International Airport for urgent, perishable and high-value consignments.

Warehousing & distribution

Storage, export consolidation and import de-consolidation between factory, port and buyer.

Import & export handling

Full import logistics from arrival to door delivery, and export logistics including EFS shipments.

Port Logistics

Karachi port logistics, handled on the ground

Karachi is not one port — it is two, across four container terminals, each with its own free-time, gate procedure and congestion pattern. Getting that wrong is what turns a routine shipment into a demurrage bill.

Karachi Port — KICT & SAPT

The country’s busiest port. SAPT handles the deepest-draft vessels calling Pakistan; KICT carries a large share of routine container traffic.

Port Qasim — QICT & PICT

Port Qasim logistics run differently to KPT: Pakistan’s second seaport sits further from the city centre — which changes both haulage timing and cost on every move.

Free-time discipline

We plan clearance and haulage against the free-time clock, not after it. Most demurrage we see was avoidable with earlier document preparation.

Why Us

What separates us from other logistics companies in Karachi

We own the trucks

Our haulage is not brokered to whoever is cheapest that morning. Owned fleet means a committed cut-off is a cut-off we control.

Licensed on both sides

PIFFA member as a freight forwarder, and a customs agent licensed under Rule 355 of the Customs Rules 2001. Both, in the same company.

Since 2003

Two decades at Karachi’s ports, through manual filing, WeBOC and now PSW. Experience is what clears the difficult consignments.

One point of accountability

Freight, customs, transport and storage on one invoice with one contact — no gap between vendors for a shipment to disappear into.

Live shipment updates

Loading, departure, vessel and customs milestones pushed to you and your agents automatically instead of on request.

Documentation done right first

Because clearance sits in-house, paperwork errors get caught before filing rather than during an examination hold.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What does a logistics company in Karachi actually do?
It moves cargo between your premises and the ports or airport, and handles everything that has to happen in between — carrier booking, customs clearance, container transportation, storage and documentation. Some companies do only one of those and sub-contract the rest; we handle all of them in-house.
Do you provide trucking and container transportation in Karachi?
Yes — on our own fleet. We move containers between Karachi Port (KICT, SAPT), Port Qasim (QICT, PICT) and factories or warehouses across Karachi, timed to vessel cut-offs and free-time.
Are you a logistics company or a freight forwarder?
Both, plus a licensed customs agent. We are a PIFFA-member freight forwarder, a customs agent licensed under Rule 355, and an owned-fleet hauler — which is why one company can take a shipment from factory gate to vessel without handing it off.
Do you serve companies outside Karachi?
Yes. Karachi handles the large majority of Pakistan's international sea and air cargo, so exporters and importers located elsewhere in Pakistan routinely route their shipments through us here.
Can you store cargo as well as move it?
Yes — short and long-term warehousing in Karachi, including export consolidation and import de-consolidation, so cargo can wait safely between the factory and the vessel.
How do I get pricing for logistics services in Karachi?
Send the commodity, volume or container type, the ports or addresses involved and your Incoterm. We quote against the actual route rather than giving an indicative figure that changes later.
